About the Event

ABOUT THE EVENT

The Cooperative Institute of Malaysia (IKMa) is organizing the International      Cooperative Conference 2025 (ICC 2025), which coincides with the International Year of Cooperatives (IYC 2025), Malaysia's ASEAN National Cooperative Day 2025 and chairmanship.

With the theme "Youth for Cooperative Future," the conference honours the social development contributions made by the cooperative movement over the past century while anticipating new opportunities and challenges. Cooperatives are essential to creating resilient communities and fostering inclusive growth, notwithstanding their little GDP contribution.

By encouraging cooperative ideals, ICC 2025 seeks to address important global concerns like low youth engagement, economic inequality, and climate change.
